QUEEN OF THE VALLEY FOUNDATION ADDS JEFF STREBLOW TO BOARD
Third generation of Streblow family to support the Queen
Queen of the Valley Foundation is honored to add Jeff Streblow to its Board of Trustees. A Napa native, Jeff has historical family ties to the Queen and brings extraordinary business experience to his role as a board member.
Jeff Streblow is a rare individual. He has spent his entire, three-plus-decades career working for one company, Connell Bros., a division of Wilbur-Ellis Company.
Jeff has worked extensively in Asia as well as California, Oregon and Canada in several capacities for Connell, including exporting hay, establishing process manufacturing and storage facilities, and overseeing regional businesses as well as IT services. Today, as Senior Vice President of Operations he is responsible for $800 million in sales of specialty chemical and ingredients distribution throughout Asia Pacific, including 50 offices in 17 countries and more than 1,200 employees.
Jeff’s family has played an important role in the history of Queen of the Valley. His grandfather, A.G. “Al” Streblow, was the president of Basalt Rock Company and a driving force in establishing a modern hospital in Napa. Once the founding sisters secured a site for the Queen, it was Al who reached out to the community for the funds to do so, stating, “Everyone must put their shoulder to the wheel.” Jeff’s maternal grandfather, Albert Frommelt, was a founding member of the Foundation’s board, as was his father, Jack Streblow. Jack later served as the Foundation’s chair for two years in the early 1980s and Jeff’s mother, Patricia Streblow, was an active supporter of the Queen throughout its history.
As the third generation of Streblows to contribute to the Queen, Jeff is making history while reminding us of how important it is to provide big city medicine to our small town.
