Providence proposes Primary Care for All to address disparities
President and CEO, Rod Hochman, MD, recently shared his health system's perspectives on Primary Care for All with HealthLeaders as part of the seven-point proposal to address racial disparities in the U.S.
Providence is proposing a seven-point plan featuring Primary Care for All to address racial disparities in healthcare that models a far less costly and more comprehensive healthcare reform than Medicare for All. The seven point plans includes:
- Primary Care for All
- COVID-19 resources
- Patient outreach
- Voter education
- Promote the Census
- Safety net programs
- Diversity, equity, and inclusion
