Epic: See what’s coming with the July 16 upgrade

PROVIDENCE CENTRAL DIVISION – Here’s a look ahead at the changes coming with this month’s Epic upgrade on July 16. Most are behind the scenes, as we prepare to transition to Hyperdrive – the web-based version of Hyperspace – next year. 

Downtime for this upgrade will be 1-3 a.m., Sunday, July 16.

New features coming this month include:

  • Find open OR time.
  • Get a notification if your OR block is underutilized.
  • Use a SmartLink to calculate a patient’s risk of kidney failure within two to five years.
  • See more changes in this month’s Epic update.
