Schedule your flu shot! Vaccines protect you and those in your care

Health care workers are at high risk of getting and spreading influenza to their patients, colleagues and family members.  

Why it matters: The flu can cause serious complications and even death, especially for people with chronic conditions or weakened immune systems. 

Preventing the flu is up to you: Annual flu shots are an important way to protect others from a potentially deadly disease.  

What to do

All caregivers are asked to get a flu shot or decline by Oct. 31.
