A Tribute to Providence Little Company of Mary Organ Donors
Celebrate the Most Sacred of Gifts
Welcome to the Providence Little Company of Mary Organ Donor site.
Each life we care for represents a sacred trust between us and those to whom we provide care. Which is why in moments of unbearable grief and heartbreak, we’re inspired by those who choose to give the ultimate gift of organ and tissue donation. It is through them that others may live.
There are 110,000 men, women and children currently waiting for organ transplants and every ten minutes another is added to the National Transplant wait list. Whether these lives are those of a close friend, a relative or a stranger, for them organ and tissue donation has a life-altering impact.
We want to celebrate the lives of our organ donors, while honoring them for their selfless gifts. Through pictures and remembrances on these pages, we hope to share the lives, joy and hope from both donors and recipients.
Your loved one is a hero. We hope these pages and memorials will bring you peace and joy and that their legacy will live on in the lives of others.

I can no longer see you with my eyes or touch you with my hands, but I will feel you in my heart forever.

Carry on my wayward son. There’ll be peace when you are done. Lay your weary head to rest. Don’t you cry no more.
Organ Donation Blessing
Provident God, each day you give is precious. We give our deepest thanks for lives of all those who were willing to donate their organs to the benefit of others. Please bless the families of those who supported these decisions and who made these decisions amidst their own heartbreak, for they had the strength and courage, generosity and kindness to end their neighbors’ suffering, be signs of hope, and change lives. Compassionate and healing God, please bring healing and wholeness to all those touched by organ transplantation. Let this act of agape love serve as a call to others to make a difference in the lives of others. May the altruism of organ donation echo throughout the generations and become a source of consolation and comfort, holiness, and grace. Generous God, giver of life, we pray that those who receive these precious organs rejoice in the continued blessings of life, with hope in your love. We ask this in your holy name. Amen.
