New Paullin & Colich Emergency Department at Providence Little Company of Mary San Pedro Strengthens Community Care

Providence Little Company of Mary Medical Center San Pedro is proud to unveil our new Paullin & Colich Emergency Department — a $14 million investment that boosts capacity, speeds up care and integrates behavioral health services. This milestone honors 100 years of compassionate service to the South Bay and reflects our continued commitment to meeting the region’s growing needs. 

The emergency department enhancement includes 28 treatment rooms (up from 16), a new waiting area for comfort and privacy fast-track triage for quicker care, dedicated space for mental health support and telemedicine + upgraded equipment for faster, high-quality care. We thank the Paullin and Colich families for their incredible generosity, which helped turn our vision into a reality. This expansion is the next step in delivering compassionate, expert care — when and where you need it most.
