Celebrating National Pharmacist Day
Celebrating our pharmacists for the difference they make in the health of our patients.
Friday, Jan. 12, is National Pharmacist Day, a perfect time to recognize the Providence Swedish North Puget Sound service area’s 132 pharmacists for their important role in the health of our patients. Pharmacists’ role is so much more than dispensing medications. They play a vital role in managing the supply and distribution of vaccines and medications, and provide clinical services, education and research to improve patient outcomes and quality of care.
Pharmacists often work behind the scenes, so let’s shine a light on what they do. Prepare to be awed.
