Providence congratulates two Community Partnerships leaders on recent CHA advisory board appointments
The Providence Community Partnerships division is proud to announce two leaders from within our team, Debbie Gibson and Brittn Grey, were recently appointed to Catholic Health Association of the United States (CHA) advisory bodies.
“We are excited that our leaders are able to serve on these councils and continue to advocate for and walk in solidarity with our communities to improve health,” said Justin Crowe, Senior Vice President of Community Partnerships.
Debbie Gibson, Chief Operating Officer-Integrated Community Investments, will be serving on the newly formed Community Benefit Advisory Council. This advisory council will work closely with CHA staff in the areas of community benefit planning, delivery, reporting, and evaluation as well as efforts to identify and share trends and best practices in community health. The council also plays a key role in advising on public policies related to community benefit, community health improvement, and other elements that are consistent with the priorities in CHA’s strategic plan. This work aligns closely with Providence’s commitment to improving community health through purposeful investments and partnerships.
Brittn Grey, Executive Director of Global and Domestic Immersion Programs, will be serving on the Global Health Advisory Council. This council will provide input on CHA’s global health activities, which are focused on improving health in low- and middle-income countries, and global policy issues. CHA’s global health work is rooted in their guiding principles of prudence, authenticity, honesty, patience, excellence, and humility and aligns with Providence’s focus on service and programs that honor the leadership, expertise, and goals of communities around the globe.
