Together, the eight spine surgeons will work with our Providence physiatrists, sports medicine providers and physical therapists to offer comprehensive treatments for conditions of the spine.
The SONSA surgeons will not be performing intracranial surgical procedures at Providence Medford. However, they will provide consultative cranial call coverage to assist our emergency department and inpatient services in the triage and non-operative management of cranial pathology.
Spine conditions we treat, but are not limited to, include:
- Herniated disc
- Spinal stenosis
- Spondylosis
- Sciatica and radiculopathy
- SI joint pain and spinal arthritis
- Spinal curvature (scoliosis/kyphosis/deformities)
- Spondylolisthesis (degenerative disk degeneration, slipped vertebra)
- Spinal cord compression and spine fractures
- Cauda equina and spinal tumors
With the addition of SONSA providers to our multidisciplinary disciplinary spine team, we continue to excel in our ability to use both state-of-the-art technology and advanced spine care training to provide the highest quality of care to the patients we serve.
