U.S. News & World Report Recognizes Providence Little Company of Mary Medical Centers Among Southern California's Top Hospitals

Providence Little Company of Mary Medical Centers have earned recognition in U.S. News & World Report's 2026-27 Best Hospitals rankings (Torrance, San Pedro).
Providence Little Company of Mary Medical Center Torrance was recognized among the top 21 hospitals in Los Angeles and Orange counties and among the top 49 hospitals in California. Torrance also earned an adult high-performing specialty designation in orthopedics, ranking in the top 10 percent nationwide, and received regional specialty rankings among the top 18 programs in California and the top eight in Los Angeles.
In addition, Torrance received high-performing ratings in 11 procedures and conditions: colon cancer surgery, heart arrhythmia, heart attack, heart failure, hip fracture, kidney failure, knee replacement, leukemia, lymphoma and myeloma, maternity, pacemaker implantation and stroke.
Providence Little Company of Mary Medical Center San Pedro earned a high-performing specialty designation in rehabilitation, placing it among the top 10 percent of programs nationwide. The rehabilitation specialty's regional ranking placed it among the top 11 programs in California and the top five in Los Angeles. San Pedro was also recognized as high performing for hip fracture.
U.S. News & World Report evaluates hospitals based on patient outcomes, patient experience, nursing care and other quality measures to help patients make informed decisions about their care. The annual rankings recognize hospitals that demonstrate excellence across a range of specialties, procedures and conditions.
