Meet Dr. Amy Szyszko, Chief Physician Mission Integration Officer, PCN in Puget Sound
My name is Amy Szyszko, and I currently serve as the Chief Physician Mission Integration Officer of the Providence Clinic Network (PCN) in Puget Sound. I work with a team of mission leaders in PCN and with our acute care partners to support all of you. Some of the things I get to do as a mission leader is to inspire all caregivers, providers, and leaders to live out our Mission and values; celebrate those who animate our values in their everyday duties; advocate for front line workers; provide formation opportunities, and highlight the heritage stories of our founding congregations as a source of strength and inspiration.

Mission integration leaders are responsible for ensuring that -the Catholic identity and mission are integrated into all aspects -of the organization’s work. -This includes developing and implementing mission-driven strategies, creating a culture -of mission and engaging with the community.
Prior to this role, I served as an emergency medicine attending physician at Providence Swedish-First Hill and Cherry Hill campuses in Seattle. I completed my residency as well as an International Emergency Medicine fellowship at the University of Illinois-Chicago. I have served on mission trips to Guatemala, Vietnam, and Tijuana, Mexico.
After over 20 years of practicing emergency medicine, I feel I have been called to Mission Integration to serve in a capacity where I can utilize both my professional experience, and my faith, for the common good. I hope we cross paths soon, know that Mission Integration is here to support you.
