Providence receives national recognition for heart surgery, patient safety, and more
Providence is ending the year with national recognition that positions its health care services as some of the best in the nation for safety, heart surgery, and more.
Healthgrades, the leading resource that connects consumers, physicians, and health systems, awarded Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center and Providence Holy Family Hospital with 13 designations in 2023. This is an important indicator to help people make decisions about where to go for care.
Healthgrades annually evaluates hospital performance at nearly 4,500 hospitals nationwide for the most common inpatient procedures and conditions.
Some of the most notable achievements include Providence Holy Family Hospital ranking among the top five percent in the nation for patient safety, earning the Healthgrades Patient Safety Excellence Award and earning a Five-Star Rating for Treatment of Heart Attack.
Healthgrades also recognizes Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center as the recipient of the Healthgrades Cardiac Surgery Excellence Award . Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center was the only hospital in Spokane to receive this award.
