Traumatic brain injury patient grateful for care he received at Providence
"Exercise got me into this, exercise is going to get me out of it."
That is the mantra 60-year-old Anthony Guastella told himself over and over as he rehabilitated from a traumatic injury.
Anthony was injured in December 2020 while working out in his garage. A hook that was holding up his workout machine dislodged from the ceiling and hit him in the head. He received surgery at Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center for his brain injury and was rehabilitated at St. Luke’s Rehabilitation Medical Center.
Today, Anthony can continue one of his main passions – working out -- thanks to the Providence team who cared for him on the journey.
